GWG Literary Prizes
The Geneva Writers Group established the GWG Literary Prizes in 2013 as a way of recognizing and celebrating our writers.
- To expand and strengthen the English-speaking writing community in Geneva and beyond;
- To help inspire and foster a sense of connection and community, which is especially important in these times of global uncertainty and hardship.
To support these goals, this competition has a theme: hope and resilience. English-language writers anywhere in the world, both members and non-members of the GWG, are welcome to submit.
This year’s Literary Prize is also a fundraiser. 50% of the entry fees will be donated to Cancer Support Switzerland, another wonderful, volunteer-supported organization that serves the English-speaking community in Switzerland.
The submission period for the GWG Literary Prize is from 1 – 31 January 2025.
Winners will be featured on this website and in a public reading in Spring 2025. We would love to read your work!
